Paragraph 2: Reset events
A reset event is when a quantum of matter leaves its current particle, forms a one-quantum particle, and moves alone until it joins another particle.
These reset events happen every 1/H₀ seconds for each quantum, where H₀ is the Hubble constant. The events seem to be spread over time among different quanta; they do not happen simultaneously for all matter.
These reset events may explain:
- the source of electromagnetic radiation;
- the proton/electron mass aspect ratio;
- the black-body radiation spectrum;
- cosmological redshift, when combined with photon deceleration;
- the cosmic microwave background (CMB).
